Offers
Creating an Offer
Let's start with the basics.
Press Offers on your dashboard. You'll see it either on the middle of the screen or an icon on the left hand menu.
Once you're there, click the + Offer button to create a new Offer, found in the middle or top right of your screen.
Start creating your Offer by entering the necessary details!
Create a captivating title that will appeal to your ideal audience. Be sure it includes the type of discount you're offering. See examples below:
25% off Halloween Horror Nights
20% off Italian Cooking Classes
BOGO Tickets to St. Pete's Taco and Tequila Festival
10% off Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival tickets
Choose a theme image. You can upload your own photo, or you can select "Unsplash" and choose a stock image. We recommend staying away from flyers/graphics and showing the actual experience. Our users resonate better with those! (see below for more photo examples)
Create a short and sweet description that not only explains the Offer, but seals the deal for the potential purchaser. You can also utilize the format options to include links, bullet points, bolded words and more. Info to include:
What the Offer includes
About your business
+ any good tips or highlights you'd like to include (what to wear or bring…etc.)
Photo examples
Type the name of the location, and then select the desired address from the auto-populated list in the Street address field. This will make it easier for our users to find you!
If it's hard to find parking at your business or event, toggle on parking info and add details.
If you're a business, be sure to include either of the below and toggle on business hours:
Your normal business hours
Hours the purchaser can redeem their voucher
Add an end date (if applicable). We suggest toggling this on, because if you create an Offer and forget about it - people will still be able to purchase an Offer that no longer exists. If that's the case, your local Client Marketing Strategist will reach out to remind you. If they do not hear back in 5 days, they will end the Offer.
Choose a category and subcategory, followed by 3 tags. By doing so, it'll increase SEO and boost visibility to people searching for similar deals.
Add more details to your Offer. Phone number for your business, age in case there needs to be a minimum age for entry, and website link to where users can find more information about your event or business.
Gallery: We encourage you to upload multiple photos representing the Offer, this could be a variety of lifestyle photos, photos of the business or event, food…etc.. You can see the +Images icon and then upload one photo at a time (3 image min). With these you can adjust the order once uploaded with the icon on the top left hand corner of the photo, or delete with the trashcan on the photo. You can also add photo credits to the photos if applicable.
Your work is being autosaved as you go, and clicking Continue gives it an extra save to tie it up with a bow!

OR If you have an existing Offer link, click "link Offer" instead, and provide us with the URL you will be redirecting the users to. More information below!
Note: our users typically skew towards Offers that are around the $25-$50 price range. If your Offer is at a higher cost, please just keep that in mind as it might not generate as many sales as a lower price point Offer would.
Link Offers and How it Works
This feature can be an option for users who have offers or products existing from a non-UNATION platform who still want to use UNATION to showcase and promote the products/services from their business.
On the Purchase info set in Create Offer, there is an option to Link Offer
Like Create Offer, you can set up linked vouchers for:
Retail
Discount
Buy one, get one
Add external URLs to other websites
For the Discount and Buy one, get one option, you can also add:
The discounted price
Discount: retail price and the new discounted price
BOGO: the price for one product and the discounted price for the second
External Promo Code: whatever the promo code that is needed to complete the transaction on the external website
Stripe connection is not required as the transaction does not take place on UNATION
On the frontend, a user will:
See the Offer and click the "claim offer" button
They will be required to add their name and email
This data will still be collected and attached to the offer for the user to see who is claiming the offers from UNATION
They are taken to a confirmation page where they can access the promo code and a direct link to an external website where the promo code can be applied
It's best that the external link take them to the most specific place possible where the promo code can be applied
Pricing details: like any other platform, we charge a service fee and a processing fee. You can choose to pass both fees to the purchaser, which we recommend, as they are already used to paying this on all platforms. The difference with UNATION is that our fees are way cheaper than other platforms!
Below is a breakdown of the fee structure:
Free Offer –> No Fee
$1-$34 –> $0.99*
$35-$74 –> $1.95*
$75-$124 –> $2.95*
$12-$199 –> $3.95*
$200-$249 –> $4.95*
$250 & UP –> $5.95*
*The Stripe processing fee is 2.9% of the total checkout amount, plus the $0.30
You also have the option to charge a sales tax in this section. All you have to do is mark the box as checked, it will be added to the total price.
You'll notice the calculator will break down each price level total with the taxes and the fees included, so you'll have full transparency on what each person will pay and will update your profits in real time.
Promo code: use this if you want to create a special code for your Offer, maybe you do a giveaway for 4 vouchers, and the winner needs to redeem by inputting the promo code and getting the voucher for free, or maybe you want to send your VIP list 10 vouchers with a promo code exclusive for them
Promo code: You can create your own code, or have an autogenerated one to use.
Amount: How much off the offer are you giving as a promo code? This can be a percentage off or flat dollar amount.
Expiration date: How long do you want this offer promo code valid for? If you don't fill out, will just be forever.
Quantity: How many promo codes are available for use? Can check unlimited.
Apply to each item from this level during checkout: This discount will be applied to each item of this Offer level in the purchaser’s cart, rather than only applying the discount once.
Voucher expiration: how long is the voucher valid for after purchase?
Terms and conditions: any additional information you would like to provide to cover all grounds?
Purchaser info: this is a great way to get to know your audience better. If it's a music festival, you can ask what type of genres they like, what drinks/food they prefer, etc. and start building a profile on your customers to personalize their experience in the future, and communicate with them.
If you have a specific field you'd like to have your purchasers fill out, you can click on the "add custom field" button and fill out the steps below.
Field label: What is the question or info you want? Examples: "Shoe size", "How did you hear about us"...etc.
Answer type: Can be from a drop down, they can manually type in...etc.
Max character count: If you want to limit the answers
Letters and numbers only: Can check this as an option.
Required: Do you want this question to be required?
Customer voucher email: they will receive an email when they purchase an Offer, so use this area to customize it as you wish. If there are any details or directions you want to make sure to emphasize, you can include it here!
Sponsor image link: If a photo is included, then you can add a link where people can click on the photo and go to.
Additional info: Anything extra you want to include on their email - maybe a thank you, or can't wait to meet you! Something sweet before they come into your business.
Additional link: Anything extra you want to link to in the email that would be resourceful to the customer.
Custom link text: What CTA text do you want with the link?
Business contact: who on your team should be responsible for all communication with the customers should they have any questions?
FAQ: what do customers typically ask that can be answered here?
Voila! It's time to publish your Offer!
Please note: if your Offer qualifies to be featured on one of our guides, one of our UNATION team members will make edits to the Offer to ensure it meets UNATION standard. This could include updating the photo to another that will resonate better with our audience, updating anything in the description to make it better or adjusting the title to make it a stronger CTA for our users. We will attempt to reach out to you, but in the case that you do not respond after 3 days, we will go in and make tweaks.
PS if you used this flow to create your Offer, then standards should already be met 😎
Connecting your Stripe Account
UNATION partners with Stripe to make it easy and secure for you to receive payments for your events and Offers. By connecting your existing or new Stripe account, you can accept payments via credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay directly.
Your privacy matters. UNATION never has access to your private financial information. All sensitive details are handled securely by Stripe—your relationship is directly with Stripe, and UNATION simply connects your Stripe account to your UNATION account.
You control your money. UNATION does not hold your funds. When someone purchases a ticket or Offer, the money is deposited directly into your Stripe account. UNATION only collects a small fee per event (which you can choose to pass on to buyers) or a commission on Offers.
Connecting your Stripe account to UNATION is an easy one-time action. If you have an existing Stripe account, all you have to do is log in through the UNATION dashboard. If you need to create a new Stripe account, that should only take you 5-10 minutes. Once your Stripe account is connected, you can immediately start collecting payments which will go directly into your Stripe account.

Follow the steps below to connect your Stripe with UNATION:
After logging in to your UNATION account, select Settings on the left-hand column in your dashboard. Please note that if your menu looks different, that is completely fine, as menu options change based on permissions on the platform.
Once you're on the settings page, you'll notice the "Connect" banner at the top of the page, or, you can click "Manage Stripe" under settings and connect through there.
After pressing "Connect", it will redirect you to Stripe. From there, you can connect your existing Stripe account or you can create a new account with them.
If you're connecting an existing account, you'll just need to provide your Stripe login info. If you're creating a new account with Stripe, you'll need to follow the necessary steps to onboard. This will include:
Business type
Personal details
Business details
Bank details
Public details
Tax calculation
If you need any assistance throughout the onboarding process, you may reach out to Stripe's customer support. They have always been great at responding quickly and getting us any answers we need.
Stripe Support article: Information required on your business website to process payments
From there, if you would like to contact support, there's a "Contact support" button on the right hand menu
Once you've completed the onboarding process, you will be redirected back to the UNATION dashboard. Your account should now show as connected, with the "connect" button being replaced with a "disconnect" button.
Now that your Stripe is connected to your UNATION account, it's time to create your Offer. 🎉
